New feature for working on alternative schedules: Schedule Locking

Locked schedule

Before COVID, schools had just one schedule they were preparing for publication. Now they might have three versions: all on-campus, all online, or a mix of both. So we’ve added another COVID-related feature: Schedule Locking.

Schedule Locking lets you lock in a schedule as your public schedule while you work on contingency schedules. Previously, the “working schedule” set in Step 5 was your public and historical schedule. But if you are working on a contingency schedule, you don’t want students or faculty to see it.

By locking a schedule, you are free to work on as many alternative schedules as you’d like. Leave the last production schedule in place until you are fully ready to share a new one.
