Clone a polished schedule—new COVID-19 feature in ofCourse

Clones

Our latest COVID-19 feature is live: polished schedule cloning.

Many schools need to greatly modify their published schedules to comply with new COVID-19 requirements. Now you can replicate a polished schedule, experiment with it, and see if you can make a particular strategy work.

You might change start times, change rooms, or move classes online. The collision manager will continue to monitor your changes. If a strategy doesn’t work, clone again and try a different approach.

Note that this feature required a change to how ofCourse manages classes that don’t need a classroom or meeting time. Now you maintain them through a new Step 5 “Special Designations” report.

This is a strange year for university schedule makers, and we're here to make it easier.
